Rockfall Barriers and Pull-out Test of Anchor Rod
The rockfall barrier is fixed by connecting the support rope of the entire system to the anchor of the rock layer, so the anchoring force and pull-out resistance of the anchor rod ensure that the system can effectively intercept rockfall and shallow landslides after being triggered. Therefore, strict monitoring of the anchoring force of the anchor rod is a crucial link for the construction team during the installation process.
Tips:
*Anchoring Force* is an index of the anchoring strength of the anchor rod during use.
The greater the anchoring force, the more reliable the anchor rod and the better the anchoring effect. Its magnitude is tested using a pullout test, where the maximum pullout force measured on the same anchor rod is the anchoring force.
*Pullout Force* is an index tested during the manufacturing process of the anchor rod.
The pullout force is the combined resistance of metal deformation and the friction between the metal and the mold wall during the pullout process. The pullout force should be less than the anchoring force.
